All grinding wheels are relatively fragile, so when handling grinding wheels ensure that you:

• Inspect all wheels on receipt
• Place wheels carefully in racks
• Support wheels firmly at all times

And of course, it is vital that you should not:

• Assume packaged wheels can be handled with less care
• Leave packed in absorbent material
• Roll wheels along the floor
• Lean wheels against equipment, walls etc.
• Place tools or other components on top of wheels
