Ideally, suitable racks, cradles and drawers should be provided depending upon the type of wheel. It is important to:

• Support wheels correctly when storing
• Stack thin wheels
• Ensure storage in dry conditions
• Use wheels held in stock the longest (FIFO)

Yet it is important to remember not to store wheels:

• In areas likely in damp or wet conditions
• In areas subject to dramatic changes in temperature
• In freezing or near freezing conditions
• Do not separate wheels supplied as matched or balanced sets
